Who we are

This website is operated by TAE KOREA LTD, Room 3573, 3rd Floor, 23, Seoae-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul 04623, South Korea (Reg. No. 449-81-04189). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect

The inquiry form on our website asks for:

• your name, email address and message (required);
• your company, country, phone number and the product you are interested in (optional);
• your agreement that we may use these details to reply to your inquiry (required).

When you send the form, these details are passed to the service that delivers inquiries to our sales team by email (sales@taekorea.com).

If you email us, message us on WhatsApp or call us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, company, phone number or email address, and the content of your message.

Please do not send sensitive information, such as health details or identification numbers, through the form. We do not need it to answer a business inquiry.

How we use it

We use the details you send us only to:

• reply to your inquiry, including sending the product information, samples or quotation you ask for;
• discuss and manage any supply or business relationship that follows from your inquiry;
• keep records where the law requires us to.

We process this information with your consent, which you give when you send the form, and to take the steps you ask for before entering into a contract with us. We do not send you marketing emails unless you ask us to keep you informed.

Who receives your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Your inquiry is read by the TAE KOREA team members who need it to answer you. We also use service providers that handle it on our behalf, only for the purposes in this policy:

• the service that receives the inquiry form and delivers it to us by email;
• our email provider, which stores the messages we receive and send;
• our website hosting provider (Vercel).

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, for example at the request of a court or a public authority.

Processing outside Korea

Some of our service providers operate servers outside South Korea, so your information may be processed or stored in other countries. When this happens, we use providers that protect it with appropriate security measures, and your information is used only as described in this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry details only as long as we need them to reply to you and to manage any business relationship that follows, or longer where the law requires us to keep records. When we no longer need them, we delete electronic records so that they cannot be recovered, and destroy any paper copies.

How we protect it

This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), so the details you send through the form are encrypted in transit. Access to inquiries is limited to the people who need them to answer you. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts are served from this website, not by a third party.

Embedded Google map

Some pages show an embedded Google map of our Seoul office. It loads from Google when you scroll near it, so Google receives information such as your IP address and may set cookies. The Google Privacy Policy applies to that information.

Website hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel. As with any website, the hosting provider receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type when you load a page, so that it can deliver the page and keep the service secure.

Other websites

Links to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google Maps take you to services run by other companies. Their own privacy policies apply there, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Your rights

Under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and other laws that may apply to you, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information;
• stop or limit our use of it, or withdraw the consent you gave in the inquiry form.

To make a request, email us at info@taekorea.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will reply without undue delay. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before, but we may no longer be able to answer your inquiry.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Personal Information Protection Commission of Korea or the data protection authority in your country.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If you believe a child has sent us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.
